Comments: Although the capacity of the venue was 1,500, only four hundred people attended and fights broke out among the crowd. Afterwards, Edge was derisive towards the youth of Limerick in the Irish Press, dismissing the crowd as "boot-boys just out for a fight". U2 have not performed in Limerick since.
