Performance notes: Before their own set, U2 play a little prank on the audience. Disguised in silly wigs and ridiculous cowboy clothes, they take the stage to play two songs to the perplexed audience as a country and western band called The Dalton Brothers. Bono is Alton Dalton; Edge (who sings Lost Highway) is Luke Dalton; Larry is Duke Dalton; Adam is Betty Dalton. It is only when U2 play Lucille again during their set that most of the audience realises U2 were the Daltons. Setlist and comment provided by U2gigs.com.

what they said
"I've had sex. And sex with a woman too. Also, I started smoking - cigars first and then cigarettes but I've had to stop because I couldn't hit the notes any more. There are full-voice B flats and B naturals which can be real bastards."
- Bono on the evolution of his voice, becoming more deep, 2001
