Performance

The band sounds tight and energetic, but what you can hear is limited by the poor recording quality.

Overall

Historically, this is recording very important. The Dandelion Market was a formative venue for U2, like the Cavern Club was for The Beatles. This is the only recording I’m aware of from The Dandelion Market.

This is also the oldest “U2 show” with recorded audio, that I know of. (The only older recordings here are either demos or the Youngline TV performance of “Street Missions.”)

However, the audio is very poor and not very rewarding to listen to. So unless you’re a completionist and/or a U2 historian, skip this one.
