Performance notes: BB King passed away that morning, which prompted the band to work in When Love Comes to Town in his honor. Multiple takes during the soundcheck, along with some other alternate songs for the second night.

Recording & Mixing Notes:
Recorded multiple feeds through these rehearsals. Occasional static here and there, most of which has been cleaned up. Clicks and counts have been mostly scrubbed, but you might hear a bit leftover here and there. The quiet nature of rehearsals tend to highlight some of the low-level imperfections that a robust crowd might hide. The show is more of a usual mix, wireless mix heavy during the songs and then crowd and audience faded up at key points. There were several mixes that were released with the multicam in 2017. You might ask why do another one? Answer--because I can, and also wanted to keep the sound quality consistent across the entire weeks worth of audio. I feel this is an upgrade over the 2017 mixes, but you might feel different.
BB King passed away that morning, which prompted the band to work in When Love Comes to Town in his honor. Multiple takes during the soundcheck, along with some other alternate songs for the second night. Yet again, they have a breakdown over Miracle of Joey Ramone, which has plagued them all week. After several frustrated takes, Bono has a mini-tantrum, suggests that they scrap it and open with an acoustic version of Joey Ramone. Edge quickly shuts it down, and Bonos stomps off, ordering the crew to review the audio and find a version that works.
A few beers later for Bono, his mood has noticeably improved by show start time. A much better show than opening night, the band seemed relaxed, engaged, and having a good time. Some minor hiccups here and there, but a very inspired excellent show (especially considering the second show of tour).
And thus concludes the week at Rogers arena for U2! Until the next time!
As always, encouraging people to get into taping and mixing. Just take the craft seriously and it will reward you many times over. There's no point in complaining about missing recordings or subpar quality if you're not contributing--pushing 1's and 0's around on the internet is no comparison for taping.
IEM recordings are not for everyone. If not they're not your thing, either sonically or ethically, there's excellent alternative recordings out there.
Similarly, I'm mixing primarily for my ears. This is what sounds best to me. This may not sound best to you. That's a fair statement. I'm open to honest criticism (although you should have caught me when I was working on the mix!), but pointless complaining is unappreciated (naturally). Let's play nice. Or maybe lug in recording equipment and make an alternate mix of your own sources.
Please don't sell this recording in any way - no cash for blanks, 2:1s, or any other form of "getting paid for your time". Just share it freely.
Please don't convert to mp3, then back to wave, and then trade it around. This stuff is too easy to find on torrents now.
Feel free to remaster/remix this recording. Just keep it to your own computer and iPod.
Also, please don't torrent or share on other sites without at least dropping me a line and asking. This includes Youtube and Guitars101! I may want to just torrent/share it there myself. Just ask permission, it's not that hard.
Please ask (and wait for permission!) before putting it into any matrix + video production. If you ask nicely for a quality high-res video project, I will likely say yes. If you put it on YouTube or cell phone video production without asking, I will send my cats from hell to chew your computer cables.
Welcome to our photo page, on this page you can view and download high resolution and high quality photos of this show. No low resolution or low quality photos are accepted, you only see the very best of the best. Of course you can also upload your own high resolution and high quality photos easily.

During the ZooTV Tour U2 introduced a new stage concept called the B-stage. It allows for more intimate and stripped-down performances of songs, later used by Aerosmith, Bon Jovi and Coldplay amongst others.
