Performance notes: Setlist is incomplete. It is known that several songs in the encore were repeated from the main set, a common occurrence at this time in U2's career. Future musician and producer Butch Vig was in attendance and we know Out of Control was played thanks to his recollection. At least one advertisement promoting the concert named the band as V-2. Another advertised them as V-Z. People who attended an Iggy Pop concert a few days earlier were given a $2-off coupon for this concert. Setlist and comment provided by U2gigs.com.

what they said
"Larry Mullen is the drummer and the fourth member of the band. I was in a writing situation with these guys, and I had not over to step the mark. And that's down to friendship as well, which was very important to me."
- Howie B. on playing the drums in the first weeks of recording Pop
