Performance

An excellent performance from the band during the early stages of the War tour, with everyone in fine form throughout the show. While there were a couple of mildly noticeable mistakes throughout, such as Edge messing up the solo on New Year's Day and Bono having the odd unstable vocal moment here and there, these problems can be easily overlooked because most of the performance is fantastic and showcases a raw and hungry U2 during the early stages of their career.

Sound

Fantastic recording. Everything you would want to hear is audible and allows you to fully enjoy the show from start to finish without any problems getting in the way.
Recording: "Beaton - D6 Master" - 4 stars

Audience

Excellent Scottish audience who fully enjoy the performance from start to finish, precisely what you would want to hear at a U2 show.

Overall

A full-on fantastic early War tour performance with many great performances throughout the show. I went into this show blind and enjoyed it without knowing anything about it. Something worth noting about this show is that it also took place on the same day the album was released. A show I'd recommend to people looking into this tour for both sound quality and performance, as it delivers what is a phenomenal early U2 show.
