Performance notes: The volume for this concert is so loud that it shakes nearby houses and the Brussels Seismological Institute registers it as an earthquake. Bono subsequently blames Adam's bass playing. Setlist and comment provided by U2gigs.com.

Except The Alarm who played as support act (this was also a good gig) it was my first gig of all times.
U2 were great!
They opened with a great song i didn't know at that time: 11 O'Clock Tick Tock. What a giffle! ... from that moment till the end of the show.
They played all their greatest songs: New Years Day, Sunday Bloody Sunday, October, I Will Fllow, Gloria, Pride!
They ended with the song 40. Bono turned on a spotlight over the audience.
The next day they caused an earthquake on Brussels.

I was 19. I didn't drive.
We were more or less 10 kids from my neighborhood who went to this show together.
Parents of my friends drove us to the place. We were in 3 or 4 cars.
I enjoyed everything from the time we arrived in the neighborhood of the venue till the moment i got home ... and after .. when i discovered all of U2's records and songs.
Next to the venue there was a record store. On that evening there were only selling U2 records. All the place was decorated with U2 posters, coverart and pictures.
We had been waiting for the doors to open for about one hour and also one hour inside the venue for the support act (The Alarm) to arrive.
While we were waiting the people who organized the show played Simple Minds New Gold Dream record.
During tThe Alarm's gig we were frontstage.
After that we went in the seating places to attend U2's gig.
I think I bought a poster of U2 after the show.

"I think Drowning Man is my favourite U2 song. It's got so much emotion and poise in it. And it's quite odd sounding as well. I mean the vocals are terrific and I think the backing track is just a lovely swell, and feel of water almost, to it. It's like a waterfall."
