Performance

Bono once again sounds a bit rusty at the start of the show but improves for the first half, giving really strong performances of 'Still Haven't Found' with another superb 'Exodus' finale and 'Running to Stand Still', finished off with an absolutely gorgeous harmonica solo as well as an Edge dud note. Whoops. 'A Sort of Homecoming' is a breathtaking performance with Bono actually reaching his full potential. 'Sunday Bloody Sunday' finally features some political motifs before the "No more!" bit although Bono's voice slowly starts falling apart afterwards. 'Exit' is finally a fantastic rendition with lots of anger involved and a brutal harmonica finale. The following song is also absolutely bloody lovely!

'Bad' starts off being quite good until the first chorus where it PICKS UP!!! Bono NAILS those choruses, the falsetto afterwards and with the help of some great Beatles snippets turns it into an absolutely TERRIFIC rendition out of nowhere! As the band launches into 'With or Without You', Bono asks "Does this sound like a hit record? Amen, thank you!" and goes on to deliver a great rendition of the song. His voice weakens remarkably through the next minutes and, in addition to his falsetto and soft voice failing completely, has to scream out parts of 'The Unforgettable Fire' unpleasantly. 'Trip Through Your Wires' is the best performance of the song so far and absolutely incredible.

Sound

Pretty good sound as the quality improves vastly after the first minute. Unfortunately, the Kipria source only runs through 'Pride' and a slightly rougher recording takes over afterwards.
Recording: "Sony WM-D3 - Sony PC-62" - 3.5 stars
