NOTE: This CDR set was mastered from a European LP pressing of the Rome 5/27/87 show, titled "Party Politicians", hence the name of this CD set. Transfer to cd-r was handled by Robert Brewer, and final editing and mixing of the set were performed by Steve Vahey. The sound mix is about the best you can ask for from an audience recording. Excellent sound capture of all instruments. The only real flaw is some vocals distortion and some high treble distortion at times, both present on the original vinyl set. Bono mentions that his voice is very sore a couple times, but he sounds really good throughout the show. This could be the reason for the slightly shorter than average setlist though. The bonus tracks were mastered from the vinyl source titled "One More Time" and also sound quite good.
