After the first song gets off to a rough start, including Bono sounding generally weak and using his infamous Kermit voice a few times, 'I Will Follow' is a much better performance with great belts and very tight musicianship. Thankfully, this trend continues for the following songs with Bono seemingly getting stronger and stronger with every song, doing many of his beloved belts. 'I Still Haven't Found What I'm For' is a superb rendition with some of the verses being repeated during the outro to let the audience cherish the moment a little longer while they're all singing along really well. 'Out of Control' doesn't only feature great vocals but also a superb band performance with great fills and licks by everyone. 'The Unforgettable Fire' features typical issues for this tour (mainly Bono's falsetto refusing to cooperate) but is otherwise flawless.
Bono then opens the next song 'Bullet the Blue Sky' by yelling "AMERICAAA!" at the top of his voice, letting a great version of the song follow, featuring an awesome guitar solo by the Edge. Towards the end, Bono improvises a new Chicago based verse before wrapping up the song. 'Running to Stand Still' is quite solid until Bono hits you with two amazing belts during the finale before launching into a gorgeous harmonica solo. 'Sunday Bloody Sunday' is a bit messy with Bono trying to enter the bridge two full verses early and Edge playing a sour note before the third verse. 'Exit' is simply mindblowing. 'In God's Country' sounds quite good as well. 'Helter Skelter' is so powerful that Bono comes close to losing his voice but he manages to keep it together, leaving this standing as a terrific rendition and it runs right into an a Capella 'Help!' by Bono and the crowd.
'Bad' sadly features not a single snippet and barely and special adlibs, making it less interesting than it deserves to be. 'October' is a solid rendition and 'New Year's Day' goes without any major turbulences as well but misses both runs due to Bono saving his voice. 'Pride' is quite nice with a fun monologue in the middle of it. 'Party Girl' starts off a bit iffy but GOT does it pick up the slag! Bono starts singing 'Happy Birthday' for Larry and from there on everyone is having a blast, both the band and the audience. 'Spanish Eyes' is always a welcome addition to any set but tonight Bono slightly struggles with the song, hitting the high notes often flat and still failing to produce any notes (or sounds) with his falsetto. 'With or Without You' sounds fantastic with incredible vocals by Bono. The concert ends with a magnificent "40" by both Bono and the audience.
