1. Interestingly so far there has no talk/roumers about bands supporting u2 on their e&i tour.

for my european view euro support acts to u2 have nevebeen that big as the american ones.

my first u2 show I got the fantastischen vier (wich fitted very well at that point) and second Time Kelis (as my dutch friends here will remember) she was somhow not the right one (in my opinnion) the zutones and kean weren't mine either. last time I saw kaiser chiefs (great) interpol (great) and Kasabian ... and the boring (as I think) snow patrol. what could it be this time?
  2. KENSINGTON!!!
  3. I hope Noel Gallagher but that seems a bit far fetched, although he supported Snow Patrol a few years ago
  4. Please no Kensington. Over hyped Kings of Leon sound alike band. Walking Papers or The Missionary Position would be cool
  5. Please no Snow Patrol or Interpol again. Or anything similar sleeping music.
In Canada it could be Metric (I wish I could see them in Europe). Also Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Subways, Blood Red Shoes would be good. Or some yet unknown alternative or indie rock artists.

Walking Papers? Looking after yourself huh

I really do hope Noel Gallagher is an option. It would be amazing.
  7. I really liked Lenny Kravitz when they were supporting U2.

Also, given the fact that Muse did support U2 during the 360 Tour, I wouldn't be surprised to see them do it again. Depending on when they intend to release their new album, it could actually be a smart move to get them on stage a bit before undoubtedly launching their own promo tour.
  8. Muse are possible just for North America. In Europe they sell out the same stadiums as U2.
Afghan Whigs or dEUS wouldn't be bad...

Muse are bigger than U2 already in some markets - that won't happen.
  10. I had a dream that Editors would open....
  11. Half Moon Run would be a bliss!
