    At Slane, Bono had a horrible voice... His father died a week ago and he had cried for seven days. He couldn't even speak sometimes.
    Look Kite eg, he can't reach the higher points (I'm a maaaaaaaan... I'm not a chiiild...), he tries to make them shorter than usual because he know that he coan't reach.

    I love the DVD, but we can't exaggerate. His not at his best

    It is shown on DVD...someone threw beach ball on the stage and then Bono kicks it with his leg...



  8. That Bono's father died makes the show so special. The emotional tone in his voice is a superb element of this show. All the songs were played brilliantly and it really is one of the best shows they ever performed..

    Yeah Streets is the best at Slane, alltime favorite intro.

    I agree with you that his voice is fucked up
    BUT somehow the emotions from Bono AND the band were so special and rare, that i think it really was a very very good concert !
    That "I'm a maaaan..." gives me goosebumps... DIfficult to explain but the voice was bad but you can really FEEL the emotions... Special night !
