1. What bootleg actually has the best soundboard ever? I know Saitama, RDS Arena, Twickenham Stadium, Point Depot are all great, but is there anything better?

    I am just curious..
  2. Depends on your personal taste, obviously.

Most people do like the radio broadcasts over any other soundboard because of the mix of music and audience.
  3. My favourites are RDS and Sydney '93... Just because the thing Remy said, the mix of audience and music is just amazing!!

Althought Denver 87, Denver 83, Boston 83, London 87 (I'm doing a post about the 20th aniversary of it) and Sarajevo 97 (!!!) are also great...

i don't like earpieces aas Saitama at all... Too cold!!
  4. Dublin 1993, Leeds 1997 sound as though they were professionally recorded. Red Rocks is also a must have, and the sound mix on it is superb.

  5. In sound quality: Twickenham, RDS Dublin and PopMart Tel Aviv is just insane.
  6. Twickers, R.D.S, New Years Eve, Popmart Leeds, Dener 83, Boston 83, Dortmund 84

Tel Aviv has that terrible echo thing going on in the first load of songs (ala Wembley 87) actual audio quality is excellent though. Prefer Sarajevo

Tel Aviv sucks. It looks like the band is playing in the stadium and the audience is in their houses......
    Sarajevo rules!
  9. Sarajevo is great lot's of atmosphere and emotion but i like tel aviv more
because bono's voice is better ......
  10. Elevation Tour 3rd May 2001 - Gund Arena,Cleveland,Ohio

    Elevation Tour 25th October 2001 - MSG,New York City

Clarity of recording and performance of the band are both insane on these two shows.Yes I think we all agree on the obvious shows.........New Years Eve,Leeds 97 (I was there !! ) Red Rocks,RDS etc.But I think we should suggest shows that are less well known.Although I think people maybe getting sick of me banging on the drum about that Cleveland show..............

Well, we were talking about Sound Quality, not about Performance Quality...
  12. Yep, well thanks a lot so far. I'll download them all when I have the time! I don't like Saitama too, it is indeed too cold, but the quality of the sound is good. I'll take a look at Leeds '97 and Sarajevo!
