This image of @U2 was shot at the Brooklyn shipyard. At the time, it was still pretty derelict, and while the band is very sweet and lovely, there is also a little bit of a rogue quality about them that I thought would be interesting to capture. Creating this Brando-esque moment with the band felt like an image you hadn't seen of them yet. ⁠ ⁠ 100% of the proceeds raised from this print will go directly to @pieta.house. ⁠ ⁠ #RADArt4AID⁠ ⁠

That picture was part of a Rolling Stone photo shoot in 2001 as far as I can remember.

When I was producing @U2, Bono and I did some vocals at Julian Lennon’s studio. Bono sat at the piano and played / sang Imagine, while Julian and I did backing vocals. It’s one of my favourite songs so was a beautiful and surreal moment. x

did you know

The Edge recorded all the songs from the Boy album using his natural finished Gibson Explorer. He drew inspiration from music he was listening to at the time, including Television and Siouxsie and the Banshees.
