1. Happy birthday to this gem. 40!
  2. When U2 went wide screen, happy 40th to an amazing album!

And a special mention to Bad, their greatest song.
  3. UF has been creeping up in my personal rankings of U2 albums. It's top three for me now. Really one of a kind.

Compared to how "on the nose" most of their recent songs are, I just love how allusive both the sounds and lyrics are (well, apart from Pride, which is still a great song but definitely of their "Bono has an important message!" style).

    And, a great autumn album!

It is a great autumn album but sadly falls short of October in that category.
  5. They should do a EP for Unforgettable Fire (live) 84/85

    ASOH
    Pride
    MLK
    TUF
    Wire
    Bad
  6. Please stop, you are going to awaken the "Dortmund Hopefuls" of this board.
  7. The song ‘The Unforgettable fire’ was released as a single almost 40 years exactly from next years RSD (12th April 2025 RSD, 22nd April 1985 single release). Would be a great time for them to do a release of the song live from the different era’s like they did with Gloria a few years back.
  8. Here I am
Wire wasn't played in the shortened Dortmund gig so a normal UF concert is asked
  9. Man I hope the show that took place before dortmund gets released.
