    Maybe: U2 start tour, a new start is a good name

  5. I expect a long, curling catwalk into the audience, a huge screen not square but more round this time, and I expect Bono to 'fly' over the crowd at a certain moment in the show (perhaps a new interpretation of the Fly?).

    Watch out, cause this could be more realistic than you imagine...

  11. Members of U2's stage building crew or however they are called,have reportedly visited some concerts of Marco Borsato's Wit Licht shows for inspiration...
    It's not my fav too, but I won't be surprised if we see some elements of Wit Licht in the upcoming U2-shows.
    Well, I certainly do not hope that U2 will invite Paul Carrack to play his songs on stage.
  12. I was hoping a TOUR thread would pop up.

    My question is...should I go to the tour opener?!?!

    On one hand I love the idea of being 100% totally surprised by the stage show and set list, since we all know once the first show(s) have happened it'll be all over youtube and such, which in a lot of ways spoil it

    BUT, of course the first show(s) will be the most under rehearsed of the tour. Once the band hits their stride the shows get much better/stronger.

    hmmmm...tough decisions.

    Last few tours opened in LA, Miami, and Vegas....wonder where it'll start this time?!?!?!?!
