  10. Hi everyone, greetings from Derry

    The time is almost upon us!! On friday morning I will be getting a flight to Dublin at 7am with my brother and his girlfriend. Be in Dublin for around 8, then just take in the city throughout the day, I imagine the place will be buzzing!!!! Few pints before we head to Croker, where we will go crazy (no pun) haha.
    I have a ticket for the Saturday gig, so Ill be saying adios to my bro and his gf on Saturday morning who unfortunately dont. I'll then meet up with a few friends who do have tickets to do it all again!!!!

    Bring it on. I cannot wait.

    Dublin U2 Tribute band Vertigo are playing at 7.30 p.m. in the Button Factory in Temple Bar in the City Center .This will be a great show in a nice venue and well worth a look .

    Friday 24th July

    Again Vertigo play at 1p.m. in the South Dock Festival in Merrion Square in the City which will be an outdoor show .

    Power Bono (a one man u2 show) plays Farringtons Pub in Temple Bar in the City Center at 3 p.m.

    This will be a great warm up for the show and is only 10 minutes from Croke Park . Power Bono will warm ya up for the gig with some great tunes and he loves to take the piss out of Bono !!!

    Tribute band "The Joshua Tree" play The Legal Eagle Pub at 9pm . This is also a great band and if you are a fan of the Edge then you really have to see Mick "The edge's" guitar rig . Its incredible . He will gladly show any fellow guitarists.

    Am over with the Girlfriend for the whole weekend and all three shows

    Since we have a day spare on Sunday - any ideas for places we should see - things to do in Dublin - have done the Guiness Factory on a previous visit btw.
