Comparing his band to the 'new' New Order who I've also seen, I have to say he has more passion and clearly enjoys delving deep into the more rare songs.
I saw him play both NO & JD Substance albums last August. It was a treat but some of the JD stuffs drags. He is a beast of man!

    I have:

Billy Corgan Solo - June 12 Toronto
Neil Young - August 19 Toronto
Sex Pistols (Frank Carter) - October 1 Toronto

Agree that some of the JD material can drag, thankfully it was a nice mix last night and overall upbeat. Enjoy the upcoming gigs!
  3. Manic Street Preachers last night in London and again next Saturday in Bristol.
Good mix of songs across their back catalogue and they really seemed to enjoy playing the new ones too.

Seeing them in Manchester in a couple of weeks 👍

  5. Excellent show being the second run for the European leg, Budapest is indeed also worth the travel
  6. Sam Fender last night at London Stadium.
Quite a buzz around town yesterday, with 4 concerts in north and east London.
As always great atmosphere and a good mix of ages in the crowd. Only 17 songs though, was perhaps expecting a couple more.
Not keen on the London Stadium though, whilst sound was decent, organisation was poor and felt overcrowded on the concourses. And all the bars started running out of beer just as the show was starting!
  7. Duran Duran. Wednesday next week, Amsterdam Ziggodome. Going back to my youth Looking forward to it.
  8. Snow Patrol ✅️
    Gavin Friday ✅️
    Bryan Adams ✅️
    Morrissey ✅️
    Alanis Morissette
    Oasis
  9. Alanis in July, Belinda Carlisle in September, Larkin Poe in October and Sunday (1994) in November.
  10. Low Island last week with an in-the-round album launch in their hometown of Oxford (UK).
They are pure DIY, self-financing, own label, sell their own merch, drive themselves & are just brilliant. Sublime mix of guitar, keyboards, a bit industrial & a smidge of Radiohead. Check out the new album Bird, if you wish...
