1. While I realize that there is a tour discussion already this topic refers specifically to bands/acts you would like to specifically see open up for U2 on the upcoming tour following the album release.

So who will be the next Arcade Fire? Will we see some big names or diamond in the rough upcoming talent?

Name one big name you'd realistically like to see open up then an upcoming talent you know of. And for a laugh include a group/artist you don't particularly like but listening to would get you more and more pumped for U2 out of spite while you waited.

    e.g.

Big Act: (I live and hope) Pixies
    Upcoming Talent: Fleet Foxes
    Spiteful Act: Kings of Leon
  2. I actually don't care for the support acts, really. I will go to see U2. What else do I need? I don't care if a band takes the stage 2 hours before or not. I wanna hear U2

PS. I'd like to see My Chemical Romance and Kings Of Leon live, at least once... And since I will NOT ever pay for any of their concerts, them supporting U2 would be fine
  3. The Script I like. But U2 must taken over the time that will spend on the opening act together with their on act.
  4. ----> U2 Live

Big Act: Kings of Leon / Coldplay
Upcoming: Fleet Foxes / The Script
    Irksome: Kanye/any rap act/Killers

  5. You must really feel for us down here then.

Other countries get Kings of Leon, Pearl Jam, Killers - we get a rapper at a U2 show.

    Not a guitar in sight.
  6. Do you really think Coldplay would ever be the support act for U2? I think they wouldn't (Even tho I would love seeing them )
  7. The Music as opnening act!!!
    Or Chemical Brothers

    And please no Coldplay!!!
  8. Ahh..the Corrs will do
  9. i would like to see The Killers, Red Hot Chilli Peppers or Stereophonics
