1. Incredible album, their psychedelic turn... But sadly not as brilliant as the previous (Rubber Soul) or the next (Sgt. Peppers) ones
  2. Seems legit.

  3. So, that new documentary about the boys came out...

    I watched it today.

Its existence makes me very happy.
  4. i saw him on Pinkpop, but he is not a good performer on stage...
  5. I think that's a little unfair to say. Not everybody has to be U2 in order to command attention on stage. In fact, a select number of artists can command a crowd with little to no bombast.

At any rate, Paul has never really been part of that school of performance. The only times where he was more inherently showy on stage were during the Hamburg and Cavern periods of The Beatles. In Hamburg, the boys would be asked to "Mach schau!" and go crazy on stage. They became more streamlined when Brian became their manager, but the band never internally changed who they were, which was what Brian wanted anyway.

So, in terms of intense showmanship, Paul isn't the greatest, but he doesn't need to be. He's Paul and that's enough for me.
  6. Get ready, gentlemen... Heard about this early, but it's still exciting to me.

  7. Oh my.....
