  1. No. They are not even in the same ballpark. Not even the same planet.
Miracle is good, but we're talking about Exit.
    Why do you ask?
  2. Our U2 concert journey begins parking a few blocks from the CenturyLink Stadium, as we're heading our way to the stadium amongst an excited group of fans, a middle aged man with a little humiliation and panic on his face, comes running towards everyone with a medium size pink leather purse in his hand, shouting to the women in front of us, "turn around you can't get in with that purse." I guess a few didn't get the message, they weren't kidding about no bags bigger then 12x6. A separate line for those with bags and another for those without. Everyone had to go through a metal detector only to be herded into a large unorganized area, hoping we were in the right place for credit card check in. Our card had been compromised a few months back so after a couple different contacts with Ticketmaster we were holding our breath there would be no issues. Finally getting up to a man with a scanner attached to his belt the first swipe..... didn't work! Second swipe, yahoo we're in!!
Easily finding our seats in row 118 looking straight at the set and the Seattle Skyline in view, Mumford and Son playing on stage, the crowd energized. I felt anxious so my daughter and I headed to buy a sweatshirt. We arrive to a big line, looking to my right there was a charging station with a few deflated looking guys waiting. When all of a sudden a guy spills his full glass of beer next to us, nearly missing my new white tennis shoes, but my daughter manages to step right into, "now I'm a minor in procession", she panics. Finally our turn to get the goods, they are out of the burgundy sweatshirt jackets, that my daughter had planned on, $200 later we were back at our seat, only 30 min later the lady in front of us saying you're lucky to get the sweat shirts, now they're sold out! My advise, hit up the merchandise when you get there.
Now we're back to our seats with Mumford just wrapping it up. About 1 hour till U2 hits the stage, and here comes this little old lady mid to late 70's with her husband. I think to myself she should be pretty mellow won't have to worry about a screamer next to me. With mass anticipation building, I see Larry walking to the drums and bam!!! The sweet sounds of SBS and I look over at that sweet little old lady and now she is busting a move a 30 year old would be proud of and I was amazed she kept up the energy for the entire concert. I was pretty much aware of all the rehearsals in Vancouver and the setlist, I'd really been looking forward to ASOH and that was just breathtaking, lived up to expectations. Now I'm ready for MLK and it's just not sounding right, it took me a second to realize that I was really hearing "Bad"!!! What a great treat that was. And of course Eddie Vedder on MOTD then the big surprise with "I Will Follow"!
I hope all of your future shows will be this good. U2 comes thru again for one of the best shows in our family's lifetime!

Yeah for sure I completely get that. Just seems like quite a difference to IE, its not so much the notes its even when he talks during songs, not the talking singing just general speaking/speeches etc - just sounds like its really talking a toll on him..... I don't mean that in a complaining way... I just hope he is alright.

I noticed it at both shows too.. I have a flash of worry, but then watching him at IWF he seemed ok again .
  4. Yes! The bank just granted me the credit I asked for the merchandise, so thanks for the advice

    Spoiler (click to toggle)
Just kidding. Glad you had such a terrific show .
  5. Just to let whoever deals with it know both the Vancouver and Seattle show pages are appearing as 10 Joshua Tree tracks played instead of 11 and 2 'others' instead of 1. Not trying to be 'that guy' lol just thought whoever deals with it would like to know.
