I don't think quite the same way for a Noel concert. Oasis songs at his shows are merely a bonus.
I really liked Oasis. That really had something. It was Noel who carried the band and it was obvious and Liam was the vocal but not the voice if you see what i mean.
I hope people who do like the bloke get to enjoy new stuff as well as some old Oasis tunes. I can see the validity in that but it is not enough with a lot of fans apparently.
The Cardiff gig of Noels will be a party again i'm sure. He engages the audience and says some funny things throughout.
Those Joshua Tree 2017 gigs he did are not a true reflection of his gigs.I can see how some people would think he wasn't too good. To them i say, go see him play his own gigs. A great night out!
  2. Actually Beady Eye have a few decent tunes. Absolutely love Flick Of The Finger...
  3. I did buy that first album. I didn't dislike it. But it's not one i have returned back to. I may give that a spin now!
  4. Yes, there were a couple but not enough to carry the albums/band.
  5. Yes,the others are crappy... I made myself "Oasis" album from first two albums of Beady and HFB (also not fan of all HFB songs)... Noel sings on more songs, but fits together nice...
  6. found NGHFB from U2, love them

Agreed. Noel's albums have about five great songs each - mainly the singles, admittedly. Something like:

    Everybody's On The Run
    Dream On
    Death of You and Me
    If I Had a Gun
    AKA...What A Life
In The Heat of the Moment
    The Girl With X-Ray Eyes*
    Lock All The Doors
You Know We Can't Go Back
    Ballad of the Mighty I

*Some might swap this one for The Riverman but I prefer it - although I don't think it ever got played live.
  8. I’d pretty much agree with that list, Matt. Two very solid albums though, Chasing Yesterday is probably my favourite of the two. Very much looking forward to the new album and gig next May.
