And while actually being at the show, I was relieved to hear Miss Sarajevo, to finally catch my breath

But it's good that the trek has come to an end...although I feel really sorry for Australia, New Zealand and Japan not to have this magnificent show in their countries...

I agree...I probably enjoyed it more than JT 1987 (slthough I only saw 2 shows back then and 4 this time)

    Poor old NZ/Oz
  2. and would be more reasonable than those NA dates in 3rd leg...
  3. There are many more soundchecks than we fans/fansites get track of. Not all soundchecks happen with PA turned on and IEMs working...
  4. That's true. And there's a lot of scks that are crew but people think are the band. Regardless, they haven't done any scks/rehearsals on stage in Brazil.
  5. Perhaps crowd will start singing 40, but I think that I Will Follow will close this trek.
  6. Anything better than One or Sweetest Thing.

Haha, yes. It would be funny to do a blind test of Dallas, Stuart and Sam doing a serious run* on a song vs Edge, Adam and Larry doing the same song. I bet not many could tell the difference.

*serious run = playing at the top of their musical skills, aka not just testing volumes and freqs.

  9. I remember when somebody posted a crew sck from Mexico 2011 and insisted it was the band. Clearly not, and pre recorded Bono track vocals. It was an amusing discussion.

I've noticed in the past Dallas plays the parts differently, particularly on vertigo. I'll never forget the couple of rehearsal days in 2015 where they had the substitute drummer Keith for three days (when Larry's dad has just died).
  10. There's a chance they'll finish tonight's show with Drowning Man, a medley of Like A Song and Acrobat, and a 17 minute version of "40".

    There's a chance.
  11. I just want this tour to be over now. It was great seeing the JT from A to Z, great concert (no really, I'm serious!) , but now..... LETS MOVE ON! Bring on the future!
