    Just saying.
  2. i know that, "dublin point 31-12-1989, as it is forbidden on u2start"

    just saying.
  3. Remy said "we have all those recordings", which is goddamn right. We have of those 60 recordings ... and 2.075 others

Whether they're all publicly available or not is another issue. We have to restrict the public access to some of them since these concerts were oficially released and sharing them could result in us getting trouble from U2corp lawyers.

With my first post I just wanted to say that we have and offer 99% of the existing/known U2 recordings out there, and therefore posting a link where one can download a small portion of them is pointless. If we get strict and straight to the point, sharing a link where one can directly download recordings that are forbidden to share on our site is just as bad as sharing them ourselves, so it would be a forbidden post and therefore we would need to remove the link.

    Clearer now?

  4. i've read AND understood ALL since the beginning...
So it is clear the same it was.

  5. Nice! When will we get to hear that one???
  6. Let's put it this way--I haven't even listened to my recordings of Seattle since the day after the show just to check it.

Oh okay. So overall... it's 50/50?
  8. Recording is fine. Just have to put it together. Mixing recordings takes a lot of time and motivation, and I'm currently working on other projects.
  9. UPDATE:

I've updated the 1985-06-22 Milton Keynes Bowl show page / audio tab with flacs of the Malcom Beatom D6 master, together with various bootleg sources (all Malcom B sourced).

There is also an alternate source in circulation from tapes aquired by Rick14 back in the day. I've asked Rick14 (on u2torrents) for permission to upload his source as well. As soon as he is OK, I'm adding this alternate source too.
  10. ...and another update as part of the ongoing AchtungBootlegs transfer project:

1985-05-25 Adenau/Koblenz Nürburgring (Rock Am Ring festival)

Two sources are known. The best, in my opinion, is the 4 star Minimax recording (clear sound and nevermind the open-air festival audience). I've updated the u2start database with flacs & fresh mp3's

The other is from an "unknown" taper, but extant on (at least) two transfers. I've updated the show page / audio tab with the LDB "special series" #47. Although the sound "as such" is quite OK, there is a bit too much surrounding audience chat too my taste. Mood killer.
