  2. I don’t know. I’ve never heard anyone be offended by Frenchie. As I said there is some negative connotation to the term Newfie that suggests we are stupid, gullible, backward, etc.

    I have friend from Quebec whom I met in Vancouver and he said people call them "frenchies" in mocking, offending way...
