  4. In the last year I’ve liked the idea of U2 doing a “Remote Broadcast” Tour, where the band plays cities that aren’t as large on the map (for example not NYC, LA, Chicago, etc.). They would still play the same general regions but in smaller cities that don’t get as much “love,” for lack of better terms.
    One interview with Willie Williams really struck me, where he said something like: “At this point, the band can do whatever they want… stadiums or small theaters.” And he’s right. They can do anything at this point. Which is pretty awesome.

    Yeah they can do what they want but they won't , do you honestly believe they would play theaters when it's much more profitable to play Stadiums or Arenas? I could see Bono and Edge doing what Bruce Springsteen did and doing a residency tied in with Netflix in some small venue talking about the old days the only problem with that would be getting Bono to stop talking and sing a few songs
  6. I heard rumours about private gigs.. that's the great thing about rumours, there are no limits. People can make up anything they want. They've never done club gigs in Australia, doing club gigs there makes absolutely no sense.

  12. There are heaps of venues in most capital cities that are about 3-5k capacity so there wouldn't be any issue there. I've seen them the last 2 times they've been to Melbourne and the played what's now called Marvel Stadium.. approx. 50k capacity. Would much prefer to see them there and no doubt they would fill it multiple times
