1. 25? I count 23. They didn't play the Showman, SLABT, This is where you can reach me now,
  2. Favourite songs: Little things & Troubles.
A 2cd compilation I+E, E+I without Acrobat (never played before on tour) It would be incomplete! I think.
  3. I’m excited about these discs and hope it includes as much of SOI and SOE as possible, well, with the exception of AS. I’d vote that song off the discs and out of the U2 catalog entirely if I could...(all due respect to those that love that song.)

I voted for Little Things and Troubles.

Red Flag Day and Acrobat are the two tracks I want to see on the discs the most (alongside Little Things - which I was pleasantly surprised to even see as an option at all!)

  5. Does anyone else think the change in the vote since it was emailed out to people highlights the difference in taste between casual fans and die hard fans? I’m making the assumption that a lot of the people that knew about the poll prior to the email were die hard fans always checking and the type of people that appreciate songs like the troubles and little things more whereas now we have a huge change in the vote since they’ve made a wider range of subscribers aware. I’m not being critical of anyone’s taste just think it’s no coincidence how the vote changed so much after remaining fairly consistent previously.
  6. If i remember, it was exactly the same when the votes went out originally for U22, initially, there were lots of rarities winning the vote, and as time went on the U2 standards started winning the day.
So i think you have a valid point.

I guess the argument could be made that "casual" fans wouldn't be fan club subscribers and therefore wouldn't get to vote in the first place.

Although I'd missed those three Achtung Baby songs I'm hoping for, this would be a nice little set, indeed.
  9. I would like to have a double-cd set with songs from various albums, not only from soi and soe.
They should expand the set next year with a 3rd cd, like it was when u22 was released with the edge's picks

cauals would subscribe to get tickets, but I guess they all let their subscription expire.... even this die hard did.. to be honest, I'm a bit surprised with the excitement for this years gift... there was a lot of complaining about the vinyls we had for the past two years, which were just a bonus next to the presale access, and now we should be happy with a collection of live songs on cd while we already got so many nice 'bootlegs'??

A nice collection indeed which, I'm sure I've already stated, means that there's no tour this year...but don't let me derail this thread!

Right, I would sign for this. And hopefully they'll make available online some of the other tracks they played
