1. Did they ever play "Do You Feel Loved" live ?
I loved Pop the album , the tour and the vibe.
  2. Same with "playboy mansion" live ever ?
    I love IYWTVD
  3. Always been my fav U2 album... Achtung 2nd. I loved the whole 95-97 era... tricky, prodigy, chemical brothers, underworld, etc. The band looked cool, the songs are amazing, tour was ace, even the raw early ones... awful revisits for the 2002 best of though
  4. They did a few times, but it works better on the album I think. Some cool versions, though.
  5. The Playboy Mansion was rehearsed but only ended up only being a regular snippet at the end of Streets.
Do You Feel Loved was only played a handful of times. It needed more rehearsal - the Vegas performance was very rough.

As regards fans, maybe most hardcore ones like us love the record, while others still think is crap. I remember listening to some podcasters a few weeks ago, and they talked about like it was the worst thing the band has put out, which baffles me, to be honest.

It's a shame they haven't played some of the songs again, they were monsters live: MOFO, LNOE, Gone, Discotheque, Please. Too good to be shelved IMO.
Those songs you mention were amazing live it took them 3 months to nail them properly and that was another problem when the tour started they were completely unprepared and some of the first few gigs they left themselves badly exposed to negative criticism with sub par performances, at times the knives were really out for them the amount of muck thrown at them mainly by the British media was unbelievable which a lot of was anti Irish racism, they has their Oasis and Blur they didn't want U2 ruining the party.
  7. Pop Muzik into Mofo is still the best concert opening they ever did for me. It's extremly badass, and very dark at the same time, sets the tone instantly for the concert.
Experience+Innocence EU and ZooTV opening come 2nd and 3rd in my list
