I would trade NGHFB for Jay-Z any day.
  2. I was at the show in Portland for the Vertigo Tour in 05 and Kayne West opened. It was so awful I had to leave my seat and wait in the concourse until he was finished.
  3. Really looking forward to Noel for this tour (Sydney x 2)
  4. Best support act ever
    Slane, September 1st, 2001
Ireland v Holland (Broadcast on the big screens)
    Ireland won 1 - 0

Spirit took us to a higher place that day!!
  5. Worst support..... Kanye West hands down, Auckland Nov 2006
  6. Best support........ its a tie between NGHFB Dublin 2017, Snow Patrol Milan 2009 or Stereo MC's Wembley 1993.
  7. I've seen:
    Popmart: Audioweb
Vertigo: Magic Numbers (2x), The Thrills, Killers, Keane, Zutons
360: Snow Patrol (4x), Interpol (2x), Kasabian, Lenny Kravitz
    JT17: NGHFB (2x)

    Great: Lenny Kravitz
Good: Kasabian (bad sound), NGHFB (good but tired performances)
OK: Killers (around their first and t my ears only good album), Keane
Forgettable: Snow Patrol, Interpol (both pretty boring - Interpol more interesting)
Forgotten: Audioweb, Zutons (don't remember at all how was it)
Terrible: Magic Numbers (WTF was that? )
  8. Kings of Leon were awesome during the Vertigo tour.

The Black Eyed Peas on 360 were atrocious. Never witnessed more out of tune “singing” on a major stage.
  9. Until I saw this thread, I blocked Kelis in Gelredome, Arnhem, Netherlands in 2001 from my memory. It was so bad, if I remember correctly they even ended their set with a cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit (see YouTube link, although not from the same show) and were boo’d offstage. Never ever want to see that again.

Skunk Anansie in Rotterdam 1997 was nice though...
  10. C'mon Kelis wasn't that bad... you must have missed Sohne Manheims ;P
  11. I think the best opener for them I saw was Arcade Fire in Moncton on the 360 tour.
  12. I also imagine that Pearl Jam in Honolulu would have been great
