Joshua Tree Tour 2019
Legs (1): New Zealand, Australia and Asia
Shows: 15
  1. I agree. Since 2012, the Rolling Stones have done fewer than 20 shows per year. 1 year will be Australia/Asia, the next will be North America, the next Europe, the next Latin America, etc. I would be happy if U2 would adopt this method, but also continue to release new music, unlike the Rolling Stones.

Might be a less daunting method than the 1-2 year long tours spanning multiple continents they usually do.
  2. Unforgettable fire would suit in the third slot with all these fires and smoke around at the moment
  3. We need to bear in mind that we know the context and history to this part of the show, casual fans and journalists don't. Just like in the 90s, the self-depreciation and irony was missed.

Exactly. Makes for a funny read. But yes the first time I seen Zoo Tv I was like what the heck.
  5. Hey guys,
Is the obstruction still there in the red zone or have they removed it for JT2019?
  6. Huh, just noticed because of the extended catwalk and tree stage, they’ve added extra lights on the cantilevers.
  7. I think the camera could still be there.
  8. Yep, camera still on the b stage on Edge's side again.
  9. So what's the standout track of this tour? Right now I think it's Angel of Harlem.
  10. Any JT2019 exclusive t-shirts available for sale on the site of the concerts? Would love to see images of the merchandise available.
  11. Yep, the boom camera is still there. But the RZ looks like it now goes further around to the corner of the top of the tree. ie. The rail on the top of the tree now continues in the same direction, becoming the back side of Red Zone. This gives RZ a few more rail spots now, in the corner of the top of the tree. Does that make sense? Hard to explain.

What I'm saying is there may now be some RZ rail spots at the very corner of the top of the tree, that may not be obstructed by the boom camera. There's only a few of them, plus I didn't check the sightlines (I was GA to of the tree), so I'm not exactly sure if the view is obstructed or not.
