Not very subtle but for me it did the trick, can recommend

I can't honestly tell if it sounds "much louder" than the original (which I haven't listened to in a while, admittedly!), but what I can tell is this sounds fucking awesome. What a song, so much power.

EDIT. Screw that, I had never heard Larry's kick drum on the right channel as powerful as this, specially at the 1:40 bridge. BOOM!!!!!

Haha.. Most of the stuff I did was to the drums + made Bono more prominent.

If you want to do an A/B test.. I used this track as the basis (remove space):

    "It's all about the drums."
  3. One Tree Hill (Bono Acoustic)

Mixed this acoustic guitar cover with Bono's Joshua Tree Vocal. I contacted the guitar player via YT and he was ok with me using his track.
  4. Yesterday's version had too many problems.. Tried to fix a lot of those today and I'm almost convinced it's starting to sound decent now:

  5. Not posting a lot here lately, but have done a lot of new things. I should probably clean up playlists and this topic, but the last days I've been working on this mashup between Fools Gold (Stone Roses) and Mysterious Ways.

I was reading about "madchester" and also about the influence that had on Achtung Baby, so thought these grooves were fun to try and match Not sure if this is gonna be the final version though:

  6. I did a proper version of Fools Gold/Mysterious but also had this idea last night that I had to try out... It's weird but I kinda like it:

  7. Finished version of Fools Gold / Mysterious Ways (for now):

  8. This would be the "finished" version of my attempt to remix murder The Wanderer by mixing it with MLK. Heard wanderer for the first time in ages and found myself humming MLK so thought I'd give it a try. As weird (and untasteful) asit may sound, I actually like the "sleazy" vibe of this. Feel free to strongly disagree though..

  9. I also had a try at "remixing" Winter. I separated the drum/bass/guitars/vocals and double-tracked Edge and Bono. The 2nd track of theirs is delayed 28ms in the right ear, giving them a bit of a "3D surround" feel.

This was really just an experiment and I'm not sure it's an improvement , but thought it might be interesting to post here:

  10. Not sure if this topic is the right place but I'm also doing non-U2 stuff , and this one I really like (primarily because the 2 songs are so great). Seal with "Future Love Paradise" with some George Michael's "Freedom "90" mashed in.

This is dazzingly funny and unexpected Bono's capella sounds so refreshing against Wanderer's electronic background!
