1. December 6 got Ordinary Love!
  2. If Patti Smith didn’t ruin the end of Bad it would be a win for December 6th but Bad is one of the highlights of the 7th and one of there best songs in general so I’d say it’s about equal.

Eagles of Death metal ruined it for me they should never have been on the main DVD feature, where are they now?,Exactly. Patti Smith was excellent especially on people have the power.

EODM didn’t ruin a u2 song though so the gig can be ended when the band finish playing one. Unfortunately you can’t remove Patti from Bad.

I think and fully agree that the choice was due to the great impact that the attack had, and this band was directly linked to the fact. Patty was not left out, and is in the BluRay extras

What bothered me most were the fans on stage in the middle of the show.

EODM were part of the larger Paris attacks narrative. They triumphantly and defiantly played again. That matters to the DVD.

  7. Does it matter where EODM are now?
  8. If anyone doesn't appreciate Patti l suggest the Dream of Life DVD. I believe her to be an actual artist as opposed to a product. She inspired many a Punk Rocker who later formed vital bands.

But she still can’t sing and ruins every u2 performance she takes part in.
  10. Your missing the point. Re-imagine 'singing' and include vulnerability and other human emotions. She could be described as a 'conceptual' singer.

Bob Dylan can’t sing anymore but I can appreciate his work and he doesn’t walk on stage with my favourite band and ruin some of there great songs. Stick to what they’re good at. Patti Smith’s own work isn’t of interest to me, her ruining u2 songs is.

Put them in the extras I didn't pay hard cash to watch them, also the singers outrageous and insensitive comments following the terrorist attacks which he made months afterwards makes it a valid reason for them not to be on it.
