1. What is the benefit of taking a video that is in standard definition and upsampling to 4K?
  2. Just watched a bit of it and the visual quality doesn't seem to have improved much, or at all.
  3. Have you heard at the audio?
    It's in DTS-HD (2.0) i think
  4. I haven't tbf. I just quickly skimmed through it with the audio off whilst watching a Christmas film with the family.
  5. audio is still coming from the original--just because its encoded with DTS codecs doesn't mean the audio magically gets better.

I mean, just because you take a black and white faxed version of the Mona Lisa and then use a high quality printer doesn't mean you've restored any quality.

I think this is a frivolous unless somebody can point out something I'm missing.

And is it possible to make a DTS-HD Master Audio audio to the video converting?
  7. I don't understand what your question is.

The audio existed as analog audio from the VHS master. Somewhere along the line it got transferred and digitized to DVD if I recall.

There is no point to converting the DVD to 4k or DTS audio.
  8. Maybe If you squint whilst watching it or watch it from faraway
  9. MOAR RESOLUTION! (of the same video)
  10. Thank you Jimmy93, Merry Christmas to you too. But ... I downloaded the file and there is don´t have absolutely nothing 4k ... I don't understanding this ...
