  1. just end every concert with Bad then 40 and I'd be happy
  2. Haha pretty much this, no better closer than this combo.
  3. Hahaha Little Things is a better song than 13 but it was even worse of a closer, because it was still unreleased by the time they played it! Not more than a handful of geek fans from the first rows knew the song.
  4. It's porbably the best closer combo ever, BUT if they did it all the time it would be boring and we'd complain anyway. It already happen in 2015 when they started doing it on every 4th night of the European leg: it just lost its magic.
  5. What song would have been a good closer for this tour, apart from 13, Little Things and Bad/40?

  7. I agree with love is bigger, that got a great reception at most gigs and for me anyway sounds like it was made to be a closer in the same mould as walk on. Little things should have closed the main set imo.
  8. The crowd carrying the sing along after the song finished was 40-esque.
  9. Love is bigger is an acceptable song, but nothing special for me. But i don t like the majority of the songs of SOE. The only songs i like to come back in future tours are Little things and Blackout.

    As for a closer: best closers are Love is Blindness and Moment of Surrender. Even 40 can't compete with these 2.
  10. Imo I don't see where Little Things would've fit in the show. I thought the encore was well done. Didn't think opening with One would work but when I saw the show, it was fine. Love Is Bigger was great, Edge's guitar work was amazing. I think 13 was a good closer for the tour and for the whole innocence + experience project. I liked the quiet ending. But the Bad + 40 combo is in a league of its own.

    Moment Of Surrender is one of my all time favourites. That was a great closer too.

    didn't lose its magic on the second night in Glasgow - what a gig

    i guess if you're listening to recordings then yes, but when you're attending then that's another thing entirely
