1. Hold Me. Elevation is catchy, but "A mole digging in a hole" etc versus Batman's lyrics...
  2. Someone should try and mix a different songs acapella with the elevation instrumental as elevation is a song whose lyrics do not do justice to the music.

Maybe i will give it a go if i have time....
  3. I have to say that I was freaking tired of see Elevation being palyed in every single show, but after see it live again in Paris, I totally understand. I couldn't stop jumping during the song.

About Batman, I did like it very much, but this new appearance changed my mind about it.

  4. holy crap, not even close. HMTHKMKM...hands down. Elevation is just a boring song to me.
  5. Still cant believe they pulled Batman out of the closet

In both movies however, the main song is only used as the credits roll, when most people are leaving. So it gets no exposure.

In terms of actual use in a film, the most exposure I can think of goes to Goldeneye (but of course they ruined it by letting Tina Turner sing on it). At least it's used at the beginning.

Golden Eye is probably my all time favourite movie watched it dozens of times but the 1st time i watched it after becoming a U2 fan my jaw dropped when i realised that Bono and Edge wrote the score for the film. Very good song
  7. I like Elevation but Hold Me is one of their best songs and I'm glad they played it last year and hope to play it this year too.
  8. We don't have a proper HMTMKMKM topic so this one will serve.

    This lyrics are pure genious:

You don't know how you got here,
you just know you want out.
    Believing in yourself
almost as much as you doubt!

They want you to be Jesus,
they'll go down on one knee...
But they'll want their money back
    if you're alive at thirty-three!
And you're turning tricks with your crucifix...
    You're a star.

Genious. One of my favourite 90s songs. So glad I could hear it back in 2010, absolutely one of the highlights from an incredible leg of a great tour.
  9. Totally agree with you, Sergio !
If I have to pick one song of From The Ground Up it is HMTMKMKM without any doubt.
What a blast that one is !!
  10. Great song . Live and the origianl version ... and the lyrics works perfect for Batman
  11. Who the hell came up with a choice between those 2
