1. This is amazing! Wonder what Noel REALLY thinks about all of this!
  2. Oasis Playing 2 nights at Knebworth has always been the jewel in Noel’s crown. And now Liam is doing it by himself? That’s gotta sting a little bit!!

Liam seems to know what the fans want. His shows are 2/3 Oasis hits, 1/3 his own songs. Plus he has Bonehead in his band, so seeing Liam is as close to seeing Oasis as anyone is ever likely to come again.

It is not only about the hits he’s playing also about the athmosphere he is creating. Noel wants to play good music, Liam wants to create a party
  4. If only he could sing
  5. I've listened to Slide Away 8 times today and I'm not bored of it. Beyond excited for these gigs.
  6. He’s been singing well lately for his style of singing anyway. Anyone who likes any oasis stuff he should be pleasing anyway. He got really poor in the 00’s but he’s taken things far more seriously in recent years and on top form.

I was huge fan in 90's, but lost interest since Heathen Chemistry. I preffered Liams voice over Noel, because Noel was mostly crying instead of singing (except for The Masterplan which is amazing). But now Liams voice became too nosey and is often out of tune. Also when I saw him live, the vocal was louder than other instrumenrs (and I think it's on purpose), so some songs I could hear just vocals and barely the music. So I didn't like it much even if there were many Oasis songs...

Have you listened to him in recent years? That nasally vocal was very present years ago but I don’t think it’s noticeable these days. When was it you seen him?

2019. And that was what I'm talking about. So you say it was even worse? Oh god...
  10. The Brit awards performance with oasis was terrible imo. I watched it live at the time all they years back and I still remember it well because of how poor I thought it was. I guess we’ve all got our own tastes, I think his style of singing is unique, it’s not something textbook singing but I really like it nowadays. Didn’t like it back then.

Here is that Brit awards performance

  11. His voice was excellent (in LG relative terms) when I saw him a few years ago. I think that was night one of two of the tour though. He got real ropey real fast after that.
  12. Liam Gallagher has sold out two nights at Knebworth on his own. This is history.
