1. Correct me if Im wrong, but the statement in the info on this video are wrong, the screaming in this one is a C#, not a D#=´?

The show is the "hungover gig" in Rotterdam 93 and the song is Satellite Of Love. 1:01:15 in the video below:

Hmmm, its sounds like the sound is a bit speeded up in this vdeo?
If it isn't then it is very intressting due to the first Wide Awake in Bad(1:06:24), because its sound like a B in the beginning of the note and he goes up to a C.
Which is a bit unique for ZooTV, uslaly he sang it in falsetto or scream the note.
    @Any words on this @Melon51?
  3. 8:18, what a energy and strenght in the "Say its true..." part, the Bonos voice in 1986 is overlooked, when it comes to strenght and belting JT and especially LT tour is mentioned, but to me his voice way better and had more strenght and energy in 1986.

    This NYD is also great

and also this version of NYD

    and another one of NYD

    Wide Awake in 34:15
  4. Gotta correct the title, my mistake it's a #C indeed. But that is (apart from the Bad snippets in AIWIY during popmart) the highest chest note he's done live. Bad studio version is also a C# but live they never did that in standard tuning

You can tell he kinda doubts during the first verse but then he thinks, fuck it, I'm gonna deliver.

This is great, they sound like the album here with a little extra confidence from B.

Sergio, there's also this other early '92 show where he goes insane at the end of One. It's a different coda than the 'hear us coming' one, he sings something like 'Hit Low'. I'll see if I can find it

  7. If you're talking Bad, he's doing a proper C there. There aren't many ZooTV shows where he'd do the 'Wide Awake' in chest voice the first time round. Usually it was falsetto for the first and a mix for the rest.

Sattelite Of Love is impressive, because it's really controlled (and indeed F#5) and assuming he'd had a wild night. I was at the birthday show btw!
  8. Haven't listen to this for a while, his 2007-2011 voice was amazing when it came to strength, belting and high notes.
    Even the falsetto good.
Its amazing how much better he went after Popmart/Elevation tour.

  9. Agree, in some ways his voice was even better in 2014/2015.
More opera-tic, cleaner and more pitch. He didn't belt as he did on 360. but still he had so much energy.

I remember on the Love town tour in 89 he pushed his voice to the limit and payed the price with damaged vocal chords on that tour with gigs having to be postponed etc and at the time fans were worried he could have done permanent damaged .I'm surprised his voice has lasted so well 30 odd years after with all the massive tours they've done as a lot of other singers from that era haven't been so fortunate.

The recording isn't the best, but do you hear which note he hit in BREAK in 2:29?
