1. No U2 release on RSD Black Friday? 😱
  2. Looks like it. Probably too busy mixing AB 30 Live
  3. It could be late
  4. Ha!

I would have guessed it would have been something "War" related - maybe a NYD single - followed by one for "Two Hearts" in April and and one for SBS this time next year (maybe an UABRS connection).
  5. There isn't really much to release from War singles. Plenty of duplicates and remixes. Nothing of interest, sorry. I think they should skip this album.
  6. I just figured they’d do something similar to what they did for Gloria where they’d have the studio version and two or three live versions of each taken from various eras.

For example, an updated NYD single could include live performances from 1983, ZooTV and 2001 while SBS could include ones from 1983, 1987 (Denver!), and 2001.

They also pulled out an unheard demo for A Celebration - I’d buy a 12-inch with the main song, a couple of unreleased live versions and a demo…and I’d be pretty happy with that.

  9. SBS/Two Hearts is a natural A/B single for RSD representing War. NYD has been done recently and the live tracks are kinda stale. Maybe the second RSD War single could be NYD/40?

They could do something for 40. That would be cool and retain the original artwork. 40 has been under-documented/not exploited. It could even have a tie-in to the Bono book.

Here is miryclay's master schedule for U2 RSD releases.

Nov 2022 40 + Live 12" (tie in with book)
    April 2023 NYD
    Nov 2023 SBS/TwoHearts

  10. Not exactly a RSD release but kind of.
