This really should have been a 3 disc thing. Disc 1 from 1992/93, Disc 2 from 1997-2006, and Disc 3 from 2009-2019 to show how the songs have evolved throughout the years. Cds do not cost billions of dollars to press up. So many who join the fan club never get to use the tickets benefit, and most fan club members are probably among those who have helped give the band a great life. Of course, U2 does not always evolve through the years anyways, but my idea is at least a little more fun, even if the songs have not really changed too much
Love the idea of a three-disc compilation - the more songs, the merrier - but I guess the second disc (1997-2006) might be a bit “thin” if it only included performances of AB songs. I think the most there’d be is seven (?) tracks.

For some it may be. For those who have music as a passion, and are passionate about U2, it is not. And to clarify, as Rummy pointed out, the 1997-2006 era would be a short disc. There's nothing wrong with 3 discs where you have performances in chronological order, so perhaps disc 2 could have more 92-93 mixed in. Just make all 3 discs 70-79 min. The same 12 songs over and over might be overwhelming or even boring, but it would at least be something. Obviously, a full 1992 show, a full 1993 show, and a highlights disc would run 5 Cd, but U2 would be terrified to release something like that. They would probably rather take death than having something like that released. One of the few sad parts about being a U2 fan. They give us so much joy, but expanded releases are some sort of cardinal sin that is worse than anything they could imagine.
They’ll probably have more sometime in December or when they start shipping the gift itself. Everyone “should” know we always just get a couple downloads then once the gift starts dispatching and people start getting it is when they upload the rest of them.
