No nothing like that at all.
  2. Obviously you aren't an official source and are not responsible for release dates etc we get that ,but I found it quite strange that Bono wasn't plugging SOS on his TV/Radio appearances or his book tour been so close to the rumoured release date it would have been a perfect opportunity to hype it up and build up some interest in it as I doubt the band are that bothered in doing promo for it .

Maybe stick to Amazon if you only want to deal with concrete details.
  4. So nothing at all this year!?
Off to Berlin tomorrow... still spoiler free.

  5. Read the fine print. He said he’s expecting. Means even he’s not sure if it’ll be this year or not. It could be for all we know. Not you in particular, but people on here need to chill out. They’re going to release it. Bono already confirmed the album is coming soon, the songs are completed because they included the snippets in the audio book.
  6. It's almost as if plans can change...
  7. I suppose my only question is: if the album is completed - which it definitely appears to be, given the Surrender audiobook recordings - then why not just release it now? Of course it would be very much a "U2" thing to overthink/overproduce/rework everything until Edge especially is satisfied...but since they already released those lengthy snippets in the book, that would seem to suggest they are done with it, right? Then why wait??

Genuinely wondering the answer to this question, not just complaining because of my lack of patience.
  8. [The Edge] moves in Mysterious Ways.

NLOTH was finished. Even Anton Corbijns film was finished. And yet they decided to scrap half the album and start all over again. Same with SOE. We will probably never know the exact reasons

Because they are promoting Bono’s book right now.
