1. It's probably not even close to being the real reason, but I'll stick with the idea that the U2 team agree to give Bono space and that it's just him before diverting attention to U2 songs.
  2. Dylan did the same with his book and pending music release.. delayed the music release.. typically the Dylan bootleg series puts something out in the Fall and that release was delayed until January.

I'm looking forward to that release. Fragments.

When you consider this timeline, its crazy to realize that they booked 2 legs of the tour (secretly in Oct/Nov presumably), let the cat out of the bag with the Xmas video, but then literally within days (Xmas week) Bono has his emergency heart surgery - which you would think would scare them about all these tour plans - but by 2nd wk of Jan and only 2 wks after surgery, they are still confident enough in his recovery to put all tixs on sale
  5. Wasn't the excuse at the time Trump/Brexit or something?

Anyway, I can perfectly understand now why Bono seemed/was subdued and somehow insecure at the first JT30-show in Vancouver. Not his usual self - who would be after a 'shock to the system' like that.
Great to see that he is back and probably at the top of his game right now. Can't wait to see the whole band back on stage in 2023.
  7. I personally hope they are re-recording some of the songs in the same style he’s performing live. The With Or Without You version from these late show appearances are breathing new life into a song I thought turned boring.

According to Larry you might not see them all onstage in 2023.
  9. Yes, I just read that, sad and worrying news.
Band and live shows aside, I just hope he will be okay soon.
