1. I still don’t like the gang vocal on the first line of the chorus, but otherwise, this is absolutely one of the best vocals Bono has laid down in a long time…not necessarily in consistency or technicality, but in terms of conveying emotion, absolutely. And that falsetto in the bridge…holy shit.
  2. Nothing special for me... really. Don't get the fuss...
  3. This one works because it feels like a proper ode to his da. It’s much more personal.
  4. I really do love this one. Damn.
  5. I think this would have been perfect if it faded out just after the 'Don't leave me hear alooone' part.
  6. Just listened, it's tuned 1 step down but for me a better vocal than the original. He's got some control back, even doing vibrato in the falsetto, which was pretty much was gone since 1995.
  7. This one is so, so good. Listening to this and then Invisible back to back is my favorite part of the whole album. Wow.
  8. I mixed the 2023 SoS Vocals/Piano with the 2004 backing. I'm deeply impressed by his singing here. He's just more 'on point' so to say.

Good stuff, these are two of my favorites. I'm honestly impressed by his vocals on these, a bit more restraint and key changes and Bono's sounding great
  10. I missed the guitar part during the chorus. It sounds great with the remix
