"I was studying in college overseas in Berlin (East) in 89, hearing rumors U2 was in Hansa Studios making a new album, heard some of the Salome tracks from the a person selling bootlegs at a local flea market, such a cool moment to be in the same place as U2. Will always hold Berlin moments dear to myself."
"Awesome from the Zooropa Tour and even better in the 360 Tour days as well"
U2 fan from the late 70's seeing them preform at University of Maryland and in DC at the Bayou
what they said
"Some of the ideas we started out with on Achtung Baby started to come into focus on the tour as we played around with the new stage set, the TV screens, the whole concept of a TV station on the road. It struck a chord in us and the music that came out on Zooropa was very influenced by the tour. Normally it's the other way around; you put an album together and then you go off on the road and you're drawing from the album for your inspiration."
