favorite tour: ZOO TV
"This was unlike any gig I'd seen before, it was groundbreaking. I was lucky enough to see shows on the Zoo TV and Zooropa legs, including Birmingham & Sheffield before heading to London (and the old) Wembley when Salman Rushdie appeared on stage.

"Firstly the atmosphere was just brilliant. Loved the opening of the show but then when Salman Rushdie appeared it really felt like something was changing, like U2 could do anything they wanted."
favorite album: The Unforgettable Fire
"I've a thing about listening to the album immediately before the 'big' album drops. When I listen to UF I hear a band with big ideas on big subjects, just ready to burst onto the world scene. Listening to UF then JT in succession is a must. "

Followed since 1983's UABRS. First gig was the JT Tour in 1987, at Birmingham's (UK) NEC on 3rd August. Got to see/hear Silver & Gold, Trash, Trampoline and Spanish Eyes. How I'd love that these days.
Have seen them a number of times since, mainly in Europe on the last few tours.
