The IEM and the Aud sources lined up perfectly and both had great sound. This was one of the
easiest matrices I've done yet. I added a bit of eq to both, the usual, nothing too fancy.
I made sure the crowd noise wasn't overshadowing the show, as in some other
peoples matrices;) I don't know if someone else had done this one or not already, but
definitely worth a listen.
Thanks to the tapers and please no sharing lossy, lossless only.

I did not put fades at the mid point in show. Also if you feel the need to "remaster" this, don't distribute the remastered version.
I only want the original files distributed.
Also, Thank GOD for Hyper-Cardiod Mics. The Idiots behind me KNOWING I was recording, made sure to yell and scream as
much as possible, (It's not too bad though) even yelling something about bootlegging. Then when the show is over he asks
"Did you record?" "Do you think it turned out good?" "Are you gonna put it on the web?" Had he shut his fucking mouth, I woulda
given him a copy free. Stupid fuck.

what they said
"We would not be playing 'Pride (In The Name of Love)' if we didn't want to play it . What we are trying to do when we put our set list together is to tell a story, if you like, and 'Pride' is part of our story. I'm really proud of those songs. It was a real test to play 'I Will Follow' after 'Mofo'. But it worked! I think, they sit very well together."
- Bono on playing old hits, 1997
did you know
The show where the Red Rocks show was recorded would originally have been postponed due to bad weather, but the band couldn't afford this because they had a film crew over. That is the reason the show happened regardless.
