Pretty mediocre audience. People were all over the place: jumping around and having a great time during the hits, then one song later, they were back in their seats and heading for a beer refill. It was quite obvious which songs were crowd pleasers, and which songs only the hardcore fans knew.
I was so glad I got to hear a song from Pop: Staring at the Sun! Plus Acrobat as well!

"In the past, when we went in the studio, we simply didn't know our craft well enough. On 'War', you can hear more of the arrangements coming from a bass-and-drum thing; the rhythm section's standing up. That means Edge doesn't have to play as much. On the first two albums, knowingly or not, he was covering up for a rhythm section that wasn't quite mature. We're a music tougher band now."
- Adam on War, 1983

The song 'The Electric Co.' is about electric convulsion therapy, which was given to mental patients in state hospitals. It happened to a friend of the band so they wrote an angry song about it.
