Performance

Bono once again begins the show in pretty solid voice and sings a quite good '11 O'Clock Tick Tock' to start things off. 'I Will Follow' is pretty good as well and Bono does some really awesome embellishing and adlibbing during the best 'The Unforgettable Fire' so far, which also features great harmonies and things. 'Wire' returns for its only second performance and is a surprisingly strong affair for the entire band although it's missing that final click to make it a standout performance.

The usual 'War' quadruple sounds great with Bono nailing all four songs strongly while the band is adding great harmonies and playing tightly for all songs as well. The usual energetic 'The Electric Co.' follows, leading us into the finale of the main set with a gorgeous 'October' and great 'New Year's Day' which again sees the crowd singing along and Bono sounding strong. 'Pride' sees Bono sounding decent but The Edge playing a bit on the sloppier side without causing any trainwreck.

'A Sort of Homecoming' has been moved to the encore and is a truthfully fantastic rendition! 'Gloria' is a quite tight rendition with great harmonies and strong vocals by Bono. '40' is great as usual with the audience shining one more time.

Sound

A new source of the show must have come out since this was last updated.

Audience

A bit less enthusiastiac than the crazy bunch in Marseille but still very passionate and participative, again singing along very loudly during some songs!

Overall

I have mentioned the setlist getting worse from Lyon to Marseille and unfortunately, it has happened again! Although the return of 'Wire' is much appreciated, the band have dropped 'Bad' for the only time on the leg, making the show even shorter than before. I can only hope this will at least lead to tighter performances of the song once it returns...

Highlights: The Unforgettable Fire, New Year's Day, A Sort of Homecoming
