As usually, Bono starts stronger at the start of the show and sings a quite good '11 O'Clock Tick Tock', both doing some powerful belts and nailing those falsetto runs really smoothly. The Edge plays a great solo in the middle of the song. Bono enthusiastically greets the audience during 'I Will Follow' and nails the song quite well! 'MLK' features some unique synths at the start and Bono starts the song a bit flat. Really glad to have it back though! 'The Unforgettable Fire' sounds great with Bono prowessing through the song and even adding creative adlibbed sections with some insane belts.
'Surrender' is fantastic with superb harmonies and a fantastic vocal performance by Bono who then decides to snippet Van Morrison's 'Gloria' during the breakdown. 'Two Hearts' also sounds great in every single department apart from some whisper-singing during the second verse. A decent 'Seconds' follows, however, Bono's voice starts showing signs of wear and tear again. 'Sunday' is a perfectly fine rendition with Bono holding up really well but Edge messing up a little.
'The Cry' sounds great as does 'The Electric Co.' with some great snippets and The Edge going nuts during his solo. 'Bad' has also returned and starts off with some timing issues. He almost nails some of the "WIDE awake" but cracks most of them horribly. 'Indian Summer Sky' is quite good. 'October' is a bit messy with Bono's voice shaking and The Edge hitting a few bum notes towards the end. Bono uses a quite weak sounding soft tone for most of 'New Year's Day' but sings a strong 2nd verse. 'Pride' is inoffensive although Bono is still straining to reach the choruses over and over again.
The encore begins with a gorgeous 'A Sort of Homecoming' and is really good in general.
Sound
Some really annoying wavering early on an otherwise pretty decent tape. Recording: Audience microphone - 4 stars
Audience
I could barely notice there was an audience for most of the show. Not a great sign!
Overall
Finally we're seeing a good setlist with many new songs at one of these EU TUF shows, only missing 'Wire'!
Highlights: 11 O'Clock Tick Tock, The Unforgettable Fire, Surrender, Two Hearts Beat As One, The Electric Co., A Sort of Homecoming
Lowlight: Bad (sorry)
