Performance

Not in top form. They botched Trip Through Your Wires the first time, so Bono decided to play it again, but this time Edge broke a string! As the band started ISHFWILF, Bono introduced the song as People Get Ready, so they stopped playing it and switch gears, which felt very odd.
Another cringeworthy moment was when Bono stopped Springhill Mining Disaster because someone was whistling. It killed the momentum of the show.

Sound

Not very good, just listenable.
Recording: "The Tree Hits Jersey " - 4 stars

Audience

Very good New Jersey crowd. Bono said that in New Jersey you don't need to sing, the crowd does that for you and he was right.

Overall

First the good: Classics like Streets, Bad and WOWY are played very well, as usual in the JT tour. Bullet The Blue Sky was great here, with a great speech by Bono. Other songs were lacking a little bit (Exit) and others were simply ruined (Trip Through Your Wires). It's very distracting when Bono stops Springhill Mining Disaster, but at the end he gave a powerful performance of the song. And then there are the awful covers Maggie's Farm, Cold Turkey, etc. During those songs we can hear a radio and Bono jokes that it's "Radio Edge" (that's the name of one of the bootlegs) but it's not funny or amusing.
