Nice show, amongst the ones in Melbourne that I've listened so far I think this is the best (maybe just 10/14 is at the same level).
Hawkmoon 269, pretty good audio quality, what in my opinion is the best version ever of When Love Comes To Town, two great snippets of All I Want Is You...
Just a few reasons to download this bootleg and give it a listen.
Just the crowd is too loud at the start of Hawkmoon 269 that you can barely hear The Edge's intro.
Recording: "Bad At Its Best" - 3.5 stars

Highlights: All Along The Watchtower, Bullet The Blue Sky, Where The Streets Have No Name, God Part II, Bad, When Love Comes To Town (probably the best version).

NOTE (from Justin Cook's site):
Darren Glen put in numerous hours at the studio remastering this bootleg, using "Lovetown Melbourne -
Night Two" as his primary source material. The result is outstanding. Again, crowd noise is present--
there is no way to eliminate that--but the vocals are at the forefront and all of the
instruments can be clearly heard. This is definitely one of the best first leg Loevtown recordings available.
It is infinitely better than "Tonight I Feel Drunk" and personally, I like it better than the raw sound offered in "Lovetown Melbourne -

"It's my favorite U2 song, I have to say. Normally, when I hear a U2 song on the radio I cringe. Either I sound like a girl, or the lyric isn't finished. But there are some songs that I really, really do enjoy. Miss Sarajevo is one of them."
- Bono on the release of U23D, 2008

Brian Eno, who has worked with U2 a lot, does also work for Microsoft. He composed the welcome sound during the introduction for Windows XP as well as the original startup sound for Windows 95.
