Performance

Strong performance. Everyone is in fine form and there don't seem to be mistakes, though Bono might fumble a little with lyrics in Running To Stand Still and One Tree Hill.

Hawkmoon 269 is a nice way to open the show, though admittedly it doesn't have the same power of the dizzying album version... Desire clips along to a very strong All Along the Watchtower. Following that with Bullet the Blue Sky is an exciting choice. Bono gets a bit incendiary in Bullet, and talks about the kind of love he believes in. There's a nearly-a-cappella snippet of All I Want Is You as a preface to Where the Streets Have No Name. MLK is short and leads to a strong One Tree Hill. God Part II is very strong. Bad is excellent, with strong snippets. A nice transition from October from New Year's Day never gets old. The B.B. King encore is, as ever, a treat. With Or Without You and "40" serve to wrap up the show in strong fashion.

Sound

Quite good but not quite great. Dodgier in some places - there's a definite step down in quality from Bullet the Blue Sky to Running To Stand Still, for example.
Recording: "Boyacrobat Matrix" - 3.5 stars

Audience

They're good, not too distracting but not too crazy either it seems.

Overall

Overall, a very good show! The sound is good and the performance is strong. An excellent Lovetown outing, perhaps not the most unique, but well worth a listen.

Highlights:
- All Along the Watchtower
- Bullet the Blue Sky
- Where the Streets Have No Name (of course!)
- God Part II
- Bad
- When Love Comes To Town with a lengthy snippet of In the Midnight Hour
- "40"
